CARGO TOTE
For so long, I dreamed of creating and designing my own handbag—something that would allow me to connect deeply with the pieces I produce for my customers. After countless sketches and phases, I finally arrived at the Cargo Tote Bag. My goal was to design something high-end and fashionable, but despite sketching numerous ideas, nothing truly clicked.
Then I took a step back and reflected on my life as a mother, business owner, and someone constantly on the go. I realized I already owned countless tote bags, each serving a different purpose. It felt natural to channel that experience into designing my own. The beloved Cargo Tote Bag actually started as a large tote—big enough to carry my laptop, my baby's snacks, and even packages on my way to the post office.
As the design came together, I consulted with family and friends and concluded that a mini version of the tote would be in higher demand, so I launched those first.
SILK SCARVES
I think we can all agree that scarves were a huge comeback trend this summer, I seen it coming since the winter before. Scarves weren't only trending for women but men were also killing the scarf game. I thought it was only right to add them to my collection. The prints I chose were inspired by the Asian culture. I love the depths of the colors and the abstract patterns on the scarf prints.
SEAMS SHADES
The Seams shades in my collection was another version of the much loved 'Nebula' shades., but this time with a clean, sleek, touch of my logo on the sides.
DISTRESSED BASEBALL HAT
The new baseball hats are probably my second favorite of this collection. The logo clips are a touch that was inspired by seeing how expressive people can be with hats on social media. Clips, pins, patches, etc are very unique touches on hats and i wanted to add that to the collection.
I named my collection 'Renewed in July' because The Purple Vault underwent a major rebrand, and this collection, launched on July 24, 2024, marks our first step forward. But it's more than just a rebrand—this year has been a personal renewal for me as well. I’ve come to truly understand that my business is nothing without God. I opened my business to God and allowed Him to intertwine His purpose with mine. The way everything came together for this rebrand is a manifestation of that faith.
